Stainless Steel Jewellery
Stainless steel, or as it is also called, RVS, is a mixture of various metals that have been melted together.
There are different types of stainless steel, and the composition mixture often varies depending on the application.
Accessories made from stainless steel, also known as RVS, have many benefits and are very popular.

The benefits at a glance:
- Stainless steel jewellery is hypoallergenic.
- Stainless steel jewellery has a beautiful shine.
- Stainless steel jewellery is not heavy in weight.
- Stainless steel jewellery is affordable.
- Stainless steel is a strong material.
What about a nickel allergy?
Stainless steel (RVS) jewellery is perfect for those who often have allergic reactions when
wearing certain jewellery.
Despite a touch of nickel, they rarely cause allergic reactions, making them safe for people
with nickel allergies or sensitive skin.
Be careful.
The advantage of stainless steel is that these jewellery pieces are not magnetic.
This is quite handy. Stainless steel is a mixture of raw materials and not a ready-made raw
material.
These pieces of jewelry are very strong, and they are so popular because they are unlikely to
discolor. Still, you need to be very careful.
Think of perfume, (sunscreen) creams, hairspray. Additionally, the pH value of
your skin can cause your jewellery to discolor.
This varies from person to person, as everyone has different skin.

Although stainless steel is a very strong material, it does not withstand chlorine. It’s a no-go
to go into the pool with these.
It can handle tap water, but when you shower, you use shampoo or soap, which can contain
particles that do not match well with your jewellery.
If your stainless steel jewelry has come into contact with these, dry them off with a soft
cloth. In some countries, tap water contains chlorine, so it is safer to remove or take off your
jewellery.
